???IS IT WORTH SAVING THE PANDA???
I know, I know, the panda is gorgeous, cuddly and appealing! Its why the World Wildlife Fund decided to use it as their logo. I’d just be interested to hear anybodys arguments for and against. There is an article in Decembers BBC’s Wildlife magazine about them and not so long ago Chris Packham said we should let them die out. The reason? Well they’ve backed themselves down a dead end back alley haven’t they? They only eat bamboo! There’s not enough habitat for them and Chris’s argument was that so much money is being spent on saving them, when it would be better spent on more viable species.

This beautiful fox was lying in the sun at the edge of the lake at Adel Dam. Ever since I have been visiting the reserve there have always been foxes. I have only ever seen one at a time, but there must be others. It has always been on the opposite side of the lake from the lake hide, in amongst the willow. This is the best shot I have managed of it so far.
